CURRENT CONVERSATIONS, 2020

Two groups of students 10,324 miles apart, look into each other’s lives while they learn about their local endangered marine life and the delicate ocean ecosystem. They discuss diversity, conservation, and extinction, discovering that each community’s engagement with the ocean, can impact the ecosystem on the other side of the planet. The children’s lesson: we all are connected under “One Blue Sky.”
Due to covid-19 restrictions we are delaying our final mural painting to a time when the children from the Don Ross Middle school can participate in the planning and process of the mural art.
